Tatcha’s cult-favorite lip mask gets a luxe upgrade: introducing the limited-edition Kissu Lip Mask in Gold Leaf.

Tatcha’s Global Director of Artistry, Daniel Martin, created this   glistening take on the brand’s best-selling lip mask.

Martin commented,

“On my visits to Kyoto, I heard an inspiring story that geisha once used gold flakes from their aburatorigami-blotting papers to elevate the look of their lips. I developed this shade as an homage to them and the gold leaf artisans, so I can bring that touch of luxury to all my clients.”

Inspired by centuries-old beauty rituals of Kyoto’s geisha who once kissed crushed gold onto their lips, this limited-edition shade is infused with 23-karat gold. “It turns everyday care into a moment of radiance, bringing tradition and glamour to every swipe,” the brand states.

With its moisture-sealing squalane and revitalizing Japanese peach to plump, hydrate, and smooth, this mask restores fullness and softness to dry, flaky lips.

This luscious, non-sticky jelly sinks into lips to return essential moisture while leaving a natural, glossy finish. It plumps lips, smooths the look of fine lines, and improves lips’ ability to retain moisture.
